| In 1997 I made a trip up to Burton to stay with friends and we headed out to various locations ranging from Clay Cross to Derby to Wychnor to Winnick to Heamies to Tamworth to Toton to Brownhills and other places in the Midlands.
The weather was variable, and ranged from full sun to full dull with attitude! However what was noticeable was the variety of motive power in a multitude of colours ranging from Mainline to Loadhaul to EWS to Transrail to Dutch. The passenger services were in transition as the change from Intercity to Virgin was taking place, so Enjoy! |
