| The weekend of the 14/15th March promised much, with a good weather forecast and engineers working in the Exeter area, and delivered - frustration!!
Early reports indicated that the Blue Beastie 60011 would be heading to PZ so RS and I set off for Beam Bridge where engineers No 1 was photographed in sun, then gen from further afield came through to say 60011 was "Not a Well Engine" so we had to settle for a last gasp light shot of 59104. Sunday dawned with sun, so a FFCM to Taunton was undertaken, to start a frustrtaing day, as everything was running on Railtour Standard Time, Late! As the hours passed we amused ouselves with unit and HST shots before 59204 managed to escape from the Exeter Engineers Bermuda Triangle. We headed home with a quick stop off at Whiteball where AXC HST and 59004 were duely added to pixel collection. Enjoy! Well more than we did! |
