| On a trip to explore different areas to take photos, I headed on to the line between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, while crisscrossing the line I was heading along this dead straight road and passed over a railway bridge, a quick pull into the side of the road revealed Fosseway Bridge SN14 6PX ST 862829 as the network rail bridge sign helpfully proclaimed. The bridges crosses the line and you can take shots either way or from a occupation bridge towards the tunnel. The cutting has been opened up by the clearance gang who have removed in excess of 25 trees leaving the location available through out the day.
For a section of line with relatively little freight the was much to photograph that day. The location got a number of people wondering where I had gone.... The winner of guess where CGW was Glen Batten So for all of the others Enjoy!!!!!!! |
