| With the promise of a fine day Bernard Bates and I headed for the GWR. After leaving Exeter in clear blue skies we reached Bristol to find wet roads and large amounts of Clouds. We should have known better than to trust the Met Office and BBC forecast. After standing in sun it disappeared just before the train arrived and we then experienced full weather, of Sun, Cloud, rain, torrential rain, dull, sun and then more rain.
The problem was the sun rarely coincided with the trains! However a good gala So Enjoy! |
