This gallery contains photographs that make you say, Did they really paint locos in those liveries. the first two photos in this collection are the DEPG's Dutch Hymek, when D7017 was painted in the Dutch Infrastructire colours of Grey and Yellow, complete with Apple logo for Williton. The second is of 47627 which was painted up in Mars Celebrations livery for a few weeks at the launch of the product and it worked the up TPO through Exeter in the Rain! In 1990 whilst working in London I was asked to attend a rather special event, at 0155 MR No 1 in light steam returned to the Circle Line.

A number of Rail Tours were due to be operated with D200 in its final days of BR service, however its repaint at Straford became embroiled in a dispute and it is seen here at Stratford in undercoat gray, which it remained in when it worked the Pennine 40 farewell railtour
